War of 1812 Bicentennial Symposium
A History ConferenceDinner & Ball A dinner, ball, and soiree will be held after the symposium on the evening of Saturday, February 25th. This is to be held at the symposium hotel site: Best Western Brock Hotel, 716 Gordon Street. Cocktails will begin at 6:30 pm, with dinner to be served at 7:00 pm. Dancing, with calling by Karen Millyard, will follow dinner. For those not wishing to dance, a separate area will be made available for socializing, and in addition, a hands-on workshop on period card games will be offered by Julie Rockhold. Admission to the evening's proceedings is CAD$40 per person, and tickets may be purchased by using the general registration form. Formal or period dress is requested; as this is a formal occasion, we request that only those 14 years of age and older attend (please use the inquiry link below if you wish us to consider an exception).
